There are many different things you can do to fix this problem. One of the most common solutions is to restart the game itself. Unfortunately, this does not work all the time, so you may need to take additional steps.
If that does not work, there is another fix that you can try and it is related to creating a custom lobby. Once you creat it, you have to start the game and then exit from the Dota 2 client.
Don’t worry, the settings for the lobby do not matter. All you need is to start it, exit the Dota 2 client and then open it again. After you are done, you will be able to queue up again.
