Fortnite Ballistic To Arrive on Dec 11 – 5v5 Tactical Shooter

People who love Fortnite will have access to a completely new experience. Starting on December 11, Fortnite Ballistic will be available, a new game mode that people can access in both Unranked and Ranked. The 5v5 mode requires a lot of strategy, and team work to win and it is one of the biggest changes since the game’s introduction.

First Person

What makes Ballistic Fortnite different from the other game modes is that it is in first-person. Players interested in testing it can do that with the launch of the Skyline 10 map. If you did not know, this map contains new weapons, as well as other types of items. Epic Games will keep a close eye on the launch and will make changes to the maps, features, and weapons when needed.

Going back to the Fortnite ballistic mode itself, all of the saved presents from the locker will be moved to the new mode. This means all of your favorite wraps, sprays, and everything else should be available. The only things that need to be included are contrails, instruments, jam tracks, and vehicles because they still need to be supported.

Where can you access Fortnite Balistic?

According to the information, Ballistic Fortnite will be available in all regions besides Russia and South Korea. The team is working hard to offer it there too, but the process takes time.

What is Fortnite Ballistic going to be like?

If you decide to experience the new 5v5 game mode, you will see that players are split into tow teams – defenders and attackers. The latter have to plant a Rift Point device (on one oof the two sites), whereas the rest need to prevent them. In other words, it is very similar to Counter-Strike 2.

Ballistic is one of the game modes where you will not have any respawns. There will be 6 rounds, and once players reach them, they will swap their roles (attackers become defenders and vice-versa. To win, teams need to get at least 7 rounds.

The first thing you will see after starting the game is that you have 800 credits and a Ranger Pistol. Like in CS2, you can earn credits by planting the Rift Point Device and eliminations. Of course, you can also spend these credits on different things at the beginning of each round.

Those who survive the round will keep all of their gear for the next one. Speaking of gear, it is possible to buy smokes and flashbangs, and you can even drop them off to your teammates or pick them up from the enemy.

Regarding the Rift Point Device, the latter takes 45 seconds to explode after planting. Of course, Ballistic in Fortnite will also allow players to keep an eye on the scoreboard and can even track their teammates’ weapons.

The Flex Gadgets

Another thing that’s new in Fortnite is the flex gadgets. Players who start playing Ballistic will be able to select 5 of them. Interestingly, they will be the only ones who can purchase the given item. These things can’t be dropped to teammates, and enemies can’t pick them up.

Speaking of the devil, here is what you will find in Ballistic Fortnite:

  • Bubble Shield – a temporary shield that blocks incoming damage.
  • Frag Grenade – a grenade that damages enemies in an AoE, making it great for forcing enemies out of a given position.
  • Proximity Mine – this mine deals damage when enemies go over it. The good news is that you can pick it up even after it’s placed and place it somewhere else.
  • Recon Grenade – a convenient option that allows players to detect enemies when using it.
  • Impulse Grenade – this tool is very handy because it can launch enemies or allies away, depending on the situation.

Ranked and Unranked Fortnite Ballistic Matches

If you decide to play Fortnite Ballistic, you will be able to access the new mode in both Ranked and Unranked. It is advisable to try the Unranked option first because it will allow you to test the Flex Gadgets and learn how to take advantage of them.

Those confident in their skills can dive into the Ballistic Fortnite Ranked mode. If a player leaves a ranked match, the leaver will receive a penalty and won’t be able to take part in other matches for a specific period of time. If a player disconnects, the game client will give a 3-minute grace period to reconnect.

The MMR that you will play your games on will depend on the average rank of the people on your team. This is an interesting approach that can change in the future because the team is monitoring the results.

The exact rank that a player will gain or lose will depend on the following factors:

  • Rounds won
  • Rounds Lost
  • Assists
  • Eliminations
  • Current Rank

Important Settings & Conclusion

Since Balistic Fortnite will be a new game mode, you can change some of the settings. There is one new option called “Reticle & Damage Feedback” that is in the Game UI and Settings menu. If you decide to mess with them, you can set the Show Spread and Show Recoil.

Fortnite Ballistic will definitely be one of the highlights of the game in 2024. It will be available in just a couple of days from now, so make sure to give it a try. Also, remember to follow esports-news.info for more details.
