The latest patch in Overwatch 2 is here, and there are a few interesting changes you may want to know. Sombra is finally nerfed, and Junkenstein’s Laboratory gets adjusted, so let’s dive in.
Junkrestain’s Laboratory Overwatch 2 Changes
People who’ve been playing Overwatch know that Junkenstein’s Revenge has always been a top-tier Overwatch 2 Halloween terror game. The mode became available in 2016, but this year, the devs decided to change it. As a result, we’ll now have access to Junkenstein’s Laboratory, and it will arrive in Season 13.
What’s different about this mode is that players can experiment with different mutations of their favorite heroes. In other words, every hero is different and very unique.
As expected, the mode became very popular, which is why the most recent Overwatch 2 patch contains a lot of changes. The mode will be available until November 4, but the most recent update affects the abilities of a lot of heroes. For example, D.Va’s No Escape weapon damage is 75% instead of 100%.
Sombra Changes
Sombra is one of those heroes who are extremely annoying to play against. Therefore, the most recent Overwatch 2 update finally nerfed some of her abilities. Here’s what you should know:
- Sombra will no longer be able to stay in stealth while hacking an enemy.
- EMP’s cost is reduced by 10%.
- Translocator’s Stealth delay is now 0.33 instead of 0.5, and the Fade time is 0.15 instead of 0.3.
Overwatch 2 Tank and Support Hero Changes
In addition to the changes related to the Sombra, the most recent Overwatch 2 update also includes different tank hero changes.
Starting with Orisa, here’s everything new about the hero:
- HP – from 125 to 175
- Armor – From 300 to 350
- Energy Javelin – From 80 to 70 damage
- Fortify – The ability will no longer reduce heat generation
Wrecking Ball also has two changes:
- Grappling Claw’s duration is now 8s instead of 6s
- Quad Cannons now have 100 ammo instead of 80
Ramattra also received one change:
- Pummel will now pierce shield barriers but will no longer critically damage them.
As for support, we only have one change, and it’s related to Juno:
- Orbital Ray’s healing is now 85/sec instead of 100/sec
